Musicology Annotation << Back Independent work studying instrumentalists in the system of professional music education Blok Oleg A. In the article, the independent work of student instrumentalists in the system of professional music education is revealed as a separately taken stage of the integral artistic and pedagogical process and at the same time its determinant. The spectrum of consideration is devoted to the search for the specifi cs characteristic of the classes of instrumentalists in general. The personal qualities and properties of students (activity, initiative, diligence, efficiency, heuristic, cognitive, reflection, etc.) necessary for productive independent work are analyzed. Examples of negative results of independent work at the physiological and psychological level are given. Attention is drawn to the fact that the issues of organization, implementation, integration, improvement of independent work, its control, analysis of results, setting goals and objectives, their corresponding achievement and solution, selection of optimal technologies, means, forms and methods largely determine the structure and complex content investigated phenomenon. The contradictions that appear in the field of students’ independent work are indicated. The specification base of learning instrumentalists is designated, which actualizes, strengthens the need to study the problems associated with their independent work. The analytical spectrum includes: mastering the necessary methods, techniques of sound production, sound science, sound removal; the ability to "speak", "sing" with the instrument. The idea of the need to take into account the entire complex of physiological and psychological mechanisms of the performing process, which largely determines the success of the technical and artistic development of instrumentalists, is emphasized. The importance of psychomotor unity is emphasized. The art of interpretation is seen as an important component of the phenomenon of performers’ independent work.The process of formation of the performing style (handwriting) of the instrumentalists studying as a result of their independent work is studied. In the conclusion, conclusions are drawn, prospects for further studies of the phenomenon are outlined.
