Musicology Annotation << Back Performance in Service of A.A. Alyabyev’s Church Music Ekaterina D. Kutsenko The paper covers different problems of performance of church music of A.A. Alyabyev. The author contemplates a problem of dating, the reasons of absence of lifetime publications and, as a result, their anonymous existing. The review of P.M. Kireyev’s collections of church music published in 1911–1917 is given and main features of published anonymously compositions of Alyabyev are characterized. Also the author gives stylistic attribution of musical compositions which autographs are lost. The author of article comes out with the assumption that Kireyev owned Alyabyev’s manuscripts and comes to a conclusion about necessity of search of P.M. Kireyev’s archive. Keywords: Alyabyev, P.M.
