Musicology Annotation << Back Pitch organisation in the East Buryatian tuurelge Olga V. Novikova In this paper a pitch organisation of musical fragments in the East Buryatian epos (monologues of heroes tuurelge) is studied. The tone’s functions of the modal system are analyzed in connection with the pitch contours realized in the tones. Culturological interpretation of the results is given.
