Musicology Annotation << Back Onomaphonic Formulas in the Context of M. Bakhtin’s «Dialogic Word» (by the Example of 20th – 21st Century Composers’ Works) Surminova O.V. The article presents an attempt to comprehend the phenomenon of proper name which is expressed in the form of a musical monogram in the 20th – 21st century art work. Basing on the existing terminology of the problem, the author gives some terminological and etymological specification of this phenomenon, concretizing the notional definition by the concept onomaphony. Different examples of the 20th – 21st century onomaphonic formulas of music are investigated in the context of Mikhail Bakhtin’s «dialogic poetics» principles.
