Musicology Annotation << Back Concerto № 2 «Meet me, Yinva-sai» by V.L. Kulikov: Features of Genre Interpretation Makina Anna In concerto № 2 for mixed choir a cappella V.L. Kulikov continues the style trends of the concerto № 1, associated with the use of folklore elements. The analysis presented in the work shows that this composition is the carrier of the classical features of the secular direction of the choral concerto, in which there is a mutual penetration of the means of professional and folk art. Their organic combination becomes fundamentally indistinguishable. The theme of the great and small Motherland, revealed in concerto № 1, the composer again actualizes in concerto № 2, creating a national fl avor by including the features of the folk concerto, which corresponds to the main trends of domestic music of the second half of the twentieth century.
