Musicology Annotation << Back Icon of the Passion-Bearer Nicholas II in the Seventh Symphony A. Kurchenko Belik Peter Symphony No. 7 Kurchenko "Russian life" ("Nicholas II") is of interest in studying the problems associated with the mechanism of interaction of academic music, mass song and extramarital genre forms with the canonical test of services. Correspondence to the canons of iconography and liturgical singing rules forms an idea of the sacred musical icon of the icon. The system-forming factor is the invariant properties of the genre of the symphony. The six-part symphony cycle with texts of secular, mass and religious character is an example of spiritual music intended for performance in a concert hall.
