Musicology Annotation << Back Valery Pyankov's Third Symphony: from Idea to Embodiment Skhaplok Galina The article presents an analysis of the Third Symphony by the composer Valery Pyankov. The premiere of the work took place in April 2024 in Moscow, at the RAM Concert Hall. Gnsin and found a warm response from the audience. Numerous positive reviews were expressed to the composer, some of which we will publish in this work. The originality of the work is manifested both in its structure – the symphony is a one–part symphony, and in the instrumental composition - it was written for the orchestra of Russian national instruments. In addition, our attention is drawn to the fi gurative and semantic aspects of the symphony and the artistic and compositional means used by the composer. The appeal to a new, not yet studied composition in the fi eld of modern concert music determines the relevance of scientifi c research.
