In the drama fi lm Mozart and Salieri by M. Schweitzer, based on the Pushkin cycle «Little tragedies», against the background of the confl ict
of rational and creative, craft and art, the idea of losing a person's morality, leading to his moral death, is refl ected. A. Schnittke's rich sound plan,
which includes quotes, arrangements, and specially composed music, concretizes and complements Schweitzer's complex philosophical plan
and, at the same time, presents the original musical and dramatic concept of the fi lm.
