Musicology Annotation << Back Pianism and Digital Technologies: About the Cycle «Online Embassy in Search of Skill With Michael Voskresensky» Barkalaya Nino O. Relevance of the study and its scientifi c novelty is demonstrated by the fact that it makes the first attempt to analyze the use of digital technologies in pianist art on the example of the internet project by Saint-Petersburg House of Music, “Online embassy in search of skill with Michael Voskresensky”. The article provides a general analysis of content of the programs and its target audience and outlines the main features of the project. The objects of the study is the personality of the pianist, professor of the Moscow P.I.Tchaikovsky-Conservatoire Michael Voskresensky allowing to create a completely new format of program on a YouTube channel, never existing before. In this format, three different genres are combined: an educational lecture, a piano music concert and a masterclass of a certain kind where the program host takes on the roles of both the teacher and the student. It was with the latter (the student) and the interaction of the characteristics of format, Voskresensky himself, who called his programs “lessons to oneself”. The article also presents information about the official website and YouTube channel of the pianist, providing opportunity to promptly access and study information about his creative works in general and current projects. It is also noted that active placement of information both his work in general and about current projects.
