Musicology Annotation << Back Place of Yalla In Musical Art of Nakhchivan Askerov Amil A. Nakhchivan is an ancient region where a rich material and spiritual culture has developed, covering both the early periods of human history and later centuries. The history of Nakhchivan is inseparable from its unique musical culture. At different periods of history, a traditional and professional musical environment, mugam, ashug dance music was created and developed. Nakhchivan has a rich folklore environment and traditions based on it. Almost every region of the country is distinguished by its folklore genres and folk singing traditions and dance traditions. Nakhchivan is the region of the most extensive distribution of the ancient Yalla genre. This article discusses the features of musical notation of yalla, the performance of these folk dances, their diversity, the possibilities of musical accompaniment. In parallel, some features of the folk dance art of Turkey were examined.
