Sound Field Control in the Theater and Concert Halls |

This article is devoted to the impact of the acoustics of theater and concert halls on performing arts and listening comprehension in context of modern control systems for the acoustic parameters usage in the hall, which provide unique opportunities to optimize the acoustics of almost any hall even for a particular style, genre of musical composition, and performers enriching the sound image both for the musicians of the orchestra and the conductor, and for the listeners. The focus is on the relationship of the acoustics of theater and concert halls with performing arts and the listening experience of musical concerts through the prism of active control of the sound field.
