Musicology Annotation << Back Mikhail Evgenievich Tarakanov (on the occasion of his 90th birthday) Egorova Tatyana K. The article is timed to the 90th anniversary of Doctor of Arts, Professor Mikhail Evgenievich Tarakanov. He entered the Russian musicology as an outstanding specialist in the fi eld of contemporary music and music theater, a well-known teacher who trained several dozen candidates and doctors of art history, both an authoritative musician and public fi gure in our country and abroad, as well as a researcher who put forward and scientifi cally substantiated the idea "phonosphere", which was perceived and picked up by scientists around the world. The purpose of this article is to recall the merits and to pay tribute to the sincere respect and memory of Teacher and one of the brightest and most talented scientists in the history of musicology of the past, but still so close XX century.
