Musicology Annotation << Back Kievan Chant Psalms in the Books of Church Songs Kuz’kina A.V. In this article Kievan chant’s features in the Books of Church Songs (Obikhod) from different collections of the second part of the 17th–18th centuries are studied. The questions of typology, structure, genesis of this book are investigated. The problem of attribution of psalms and their melodic and rhythmic structure are rather important.
