Musicology Annotation << Back The Phenomenon of «Second Plan» in Music Irina S. Stogniy The paper studies the phenomenon of hidden meaning, the subtext that exists in any artificial, and accordingly, in any musical text. The second plan, in whole, multiplies the general meaning and works in the same direction. Penetration into the meaning of music is carried out through the intonational «program» that binds all the processes. Intonation thinking of the epoch defines the evocation of its philosophical and aesthetic ideas.
