Musicology Annotation << Back «Rosarium» by Mikhail Gnessin and Chamber Vocal Music of the Silver Age Maria A. Karachevskaya The article is concerned with the genre «poem with music» in creations by Mikhail Gnessin (1883–1957), whose music is insufficiently known for the present. Early romances of the composer and his creative search in the sphere of the synthesis of arts are considered in this article.
