Musicology Annotation << Back The Formation of the Concept of «Folklore» Tregulova Natalya In this paper, an art historical analysis of the concept of «folklore» is carried out. The author of the article highlights the meaning and variety of definitions of «folklore» in general, and also examines its distinctive features, signs and specifics. He reveals the problem of the formation of the concept of «folklore» through the study of scientific works of famous scientists and examines the most sustainable ones.
