Musicology Annotation << Back Instrumental Music by Valery Pyankov Skhaplok Galina This work examines the work of the famous Russian composer Valery Pyankov. The article offers a panoramic overview of the works created by the composer in various genres of instrumental music. The author dwells in more detail on the analysis of the composition «Variations and Fugue» for a quintet of wind instruments. The article summarizes the characteristic features of the composer's musical language, reveals the artistic and aesthetic preferences of Valery Pyankov. The purpose of the study is to expand the understanding of musical science about the instrumental works of modern authors, in particular about the works of V. Pyankov.
