Musicology Annotation << Back Fundamental Aspects Clavier Heritage of J.S. Bach Demchenko Alexander The essence of the proposed article is the desire to identify the main semantic horizons of that most important part of the creative heritage of the great composer, which is his works for the clavier. What we usually associate with the concept of semantics (German Semantik from Greek denoting), in this case is concentrated in fi ve sections of the central part of the material (Festoso, Ener-getica, Sapiens, Dramatik, Universum), designed to give an idea of the basic components of the fi gurative world, as it is stated in the works under consideration. The central part of the article is framed by an arch of the introductory (Predict) and fi nal (Postict) sections. The fi rst of them precedes the presentation with a panorama of genres, the second contains fi nal observations. In its sum, the sequence of these sections provides a fairly complete coverage of the defi ning semantic aspects of J.S. Bach's clavier art. Keywords: clavier works of J.S. Bach, semantic aspects.
