Musicology Annotation << Back Sorrow Through the Sunlight Mansurova Nargiz N. In the article brought to the attention of the readers, the multifaceted creativity of the People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, professor Azer Dadashov, especially his piano heritage is investigated. The artistic signifi cance of the composer’s works in the history of Azerbaijani musical culture is noted here. The three piano concerts included in the rich creativity of Azer Dadashov play a special role and fascinate the listener with their beauty and amazing sound power that differs from each other in style. Here, the composer turned to deep national sources, especially professional music with an oral tradition, and at the same time determined the interrelationship of different stylistic directions of the 20th century. The article provides a brief historical overview of the creative and performing directions of the 20th century Azerbaijani piano culture aimed at the formation and development of the current piano art. Emphasizing the features of the figurative-emotional content of the second piano concert, this article initially creates a certain idea about the magical music of Azer Dadashov.
