Impact of Russian Folk-Orchestral Tradition on a Development of Chinese Orchestra of National Instruments |

The Article devoted to development of orchestra national instruments in China in twentieth century. Special attention paid to insufficiently researched aspect of Russian-Soviet influence on formation of orchestral culture in China. A period 40s – 50s was culmination in a cultural cooperation between two countries, which also affected the sphere performing on folk instruments. The orchestra of Russian folk instruments created by Vasily Andreev at end of the XIX century, as well as experience accumulated in USSR in creating folk orchestral culture, became starting point for Chinese musicians in developing their own orchestras of national instruments and finding a balance between borrowed and national, which marked the development Chinese music in twentieth century.
