Musicology Annotation << Back Dialogue of Cultures and Times in the Work of Kazakh Composer Aktoty Raimkulov Yunusova Violetta N. The article is devoted to the work of the famous Kazakh composer Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aktoty Raimkulova (b. 1964), in whose work characteristic trends in the development of modern cultures of Asia are manifested. Analyzing theoretical works containing aesthetic views and guidelines of the composer, her music, the author focuses on two directions that clearly reveal the originality of her work: the dialogue of times and the dialogue of cultures. It is largely based on the good preservation of traditional Kazakh culture. The palette of expressiveness means noted the combination of archaic traditions of Kazakh culture with modern composer techniques, a certain "bilingualism" of the national composer school. This combination is characteristic of many modern cultures in Asia. To reveal the dialogue of times and cultures, the composer combines acoustic instruments and computer sound (studied at CCMIX in Paris), joins the folklore group Turan to the symphony orchestra, with whose musicians she has been associated with many years of contacts. The composer pays special attention to Kazakh traditional musical instruments, uses them as soloists, in an ensemble and with a symphony orchestra, interprets them as symbols of Kazakh culture and its heritage. In the field of form, a synthesis of European structures and formative principles of different layers of national music is noted. The works of A. Raimkulova are heard both in Kazakhstan and in Russia, in European countries, USA. Keywords: modern Kazakh music, A.
