Musicology Annotation << Back Phonism as an organizing principle of harmony of Alexander Scriabin's preludes op. 74 Mikheeva Marina V. The unique harmony style of Alexander Scriabin was formed through all the way of whole creative life of the composer. Nobody contemporaries' musical language has so much of changes as Scriabin so less of time. On the edge of XIX–XX centuries his name was perceived some musicians as a symbol of renovation, continuous movement to another both in composition and performance. Compare his earlier works with the latest separately at analytic and acoustic levels is became to statement that pieces are composed by different authors. However, thoughtful research of whole oeuvre of Scriabin shows the hidden relations, which unite various harmonic elements of pieces into the evolutionary process. The article is devoted to the analysis of the structure of different accords at opus 74, his interconnection, correlation and also the effect of phonism this accords to the sensation the cycle of this preludes.
