Musicology Annotation << Back "Overcoat" by N.V. Gogol. Two interpretation of one of the plot Bakshi Lyudmila S. In article are considered different types of musical and scenic dramatic art on the example of two works of the composer Alexander Baksha on the story by N.V. Gogol "Overcoat" which are created in collaboration with the director Valery Fokin ("Overcoat" in Sovremennik theater) and the director of animation cinema Yury Norstein ("Dialogue with Yury Norstein about Gogol «Overcoat»"). In the context of intensive updating of theater of the end XX – the beginning of the XXI centuries, in these works search of new ratios visual, verbal and musical is noticeable.
