Musicology Annotation << Back Modality and Tonality in Tian Fong’s Music Shao Xiao Yong The article considers technology of composition in the choral works of Tian Feng, one of the representatives of the Beijing school of composition. The detailed analysis of scale, tonal-harmonic, melodic structure of his music, and contemporary special chord. Particular attention is drawn to the use of a modality and tonality of compositional techniques, is closely intertwined with the peculiarities of the musical idea of the author.
